UTSA welcomed Houston Christian to the Alamodome this past weekend and used the opportunity against an FCS opponent to sharpen their approach on both sides of the ball. While it wasn’t a perfectly clean showing, the Roadrunners handled business and mostly looked good doing it as UTSA dominated in the trenches and created explosive plays.
Following the victory, rumors were buzzing that a move to the Pac 12 was imminent for the athletics program. That didn’t come to be, as UTSA affirmed their commitment to the AAC alongside Memphis, Tulane, and USF. We talk about why that may likely end up being the right decision.
Lastly, we preview UTSA’s upcoming road trip to face a very tough ECU team that looks a lot like UTSA this year. The Roadrunners are a slight underdog to the Pirates, a team that has blown three score leads in consecutive weeks. This is going to be a fun one, folks!
