The UTSA Roadrunners came out looking as flat as a pancake in Knoxville, but a 1-3 record isn’t what has us concerned about this program. It’s the lack of care, preparation, and intensity on both sides of the ball that has us thinking that even an early bye week may not be enough to fully turn this thing around. We break down the loss to the Volunteers, UTSA’s beleaguered injury situation, and some positives from the games (including Owen McCown’s debut) before transitioning to give a brutally honest assessment of this team’s status through the end of the non-conference slate. Warning — it ain’t pretty.
