UTSA Conference Alignment Presentation

While there is no defined application process to gain admittance into a college athletics conference, it’s common for prospective schools to create a slide deck or brochure to introduce themselves to the athletic directors and school presidents who will be voting on the incoming school’s fate. These multimedia packages typically include an academic overview, a walk through of athletic facilities, and some interesting stats and achievements which help the prospect stand out from the crowd. Here are a few examples from Colorado State, Texas State, and UCF.

With conference realignment swirling around the Sun Belt, Conference USA, and the American, I decided to take a stab at building my own slide deck to pitch UTSA to any athletics conferences which may take an interest in UTSA.
