Frank Harris threw a nearly perfect game and Kevorian Barnes turned on the burners as UTSA raced past North Texas for the Roadrunners’ second straight Conference USA championship. Over 41,000 fans turned out to see Jeff Traylor’s team take care of business, as the Roadrunners’ speed proved to be too much for UNT to handle.

Following the bowl recap we cover UTSA’s bowl game draw — a compelling matchup against Sun Belt champion Troy in the Cure Bowl. This battle of G5 titans will give UTSA a chance to earn both their first ever bowl win, as well as their first win over a ranked opponent.
We also cover some coaching news, as Offensive Coordinator Will Stein is off to Oregon, UTSA’s second OC to hit the Power Five in as many years. Special teams coordinator Justin Burke will make the move to Co-OC as Jeff Traylor continues to prioritize internal promotions over external searches.
